When organisations encounter a cyber security breach or incident, or perhaps a data integrity failure, it’s a well-known fact that having a robust disaster recovery solution is crucial for minimising their downtime and restoring their services to their users. The ultimate goal here is for any organisation to recover as quickly as possible, and get back to operational status following a disaster, RTO or recovery time objective is an organisational IT KPI in which any disaster recovery plan should be tailored to meet.

You have probably read before that incremental backups, only backup the changes made since the last backup are stored, thus minimising the data volume to be recovered. Lastly and probably one of my favourite features of BDRSuite is Instant Boot VM, this allows you to swiftly restore the complete virtual machine from a backup on any supported hypervisor and have it running in typically under 15 minutes – whether it’s KVM, Hyper-V, or VMware. This ensures a rapid return to normal business operations, minimising any interruptions to services it users.
